love it, it's adorable, something that could double as a children's poem AND poem for adults. i think the "endless, boundless sea" part is a bit cliche. i think a lot of beginner poets including myself are guilty of using cliches. but besides that i think it's really cute and well written. would love to know what it's about.

Im 16, 6',3" weighing about 220. I have a bit of fat on my belly and my sides. I was wondering what would be the best way to rid of that. Its not much just about an inch or two. I go to football workouts 3 times a week. IF you enjoy it as a hobby, then continue doing it. I work for a railway and have dealt with a lot of railfans on a regular basis over 7 years. From my experience, people just don't understand the fascination that other people have with trains. If everyone had the same interests, society would be very boring. It's no different to people having a fascination with cars, bikes, boats etc. What looks bad for most railfans though, are the odd few that unfotunately take safety risks to get a good shot. You have some good photos, and it would be a shame to see you quit if you enjoy it so much.

I don't like it. However, think of this economic crisis as a human body, blood being money, banks a heart, and we are parts of the body. Banks are not loaning money out to people. The whole point of buying these bad debts is to allow banks to start lending money. If the heart stops beating, the body dies. If banks stop lending money, small businesses that buy inventory on credit will die, leading to more loss of jobs. This is just to stop the bleeding, but we need more regulation to ensure the stability of our economy and that this won't happen again. True, business goes in cycles, but because of the reckless practices of our institutions and the average American living beyond their means, this downturn is going to be so severe.

How do you like this begining of my story?

Okay.... Firstly, your chapters need to be WAY longer. you don't have enough info in each chapter and its really amateurish. Secondly, your puntuation. For example, when you said "my grasp got harder, and he started choking, gasping for breath." You should have said "My grasp got harder and he started choking; gasping for breath." Thirdly, you need to know if the story is going to be in past or present tense. If it's in present tense its going to be like she's living the story and you're reading what's happening at the time it's happening. If you're telling it past tense its as if she's telling the story as if she's already lived. Fourthly, your grammer is ATROCIOUS. You really need to work on that if you even want your story to be considered by a publishing agency. Fifthly, you need not start your story off with dialougue. You need to start it off with an eye-catching sentence that keeps the reader interested enough to keep reading. And lastly, you need to work on being able to tell your story from a 14 year olds point of view. When i read over your story i could tell an 11 year old wrote it. you have to make it seem like the 14 year old is telling the story, not an 11 year old. try to make it sound more mature. Oh yeah, also when you said "i strutted over to him", it doesn't make sense. you could say "I angrily walked over to him" or "I stormed over to him." hope i helped!

I do believe in that,yes.This is all in the will of Allah(swt). Even if my doctor told me I can never have children I still would believe I could but it would just take some time and patience, this is one of the reasons (on top of Islam's recommendation as well as for my own preference) I want to get married soon in that way even if it took me a long time to conceive, I would more likely still be of an average age or a typical age to have children anyways.But we all know that there are those who really do never conceive and if this were to be my case I honestly do not know how I would deal with it, I would be heartbroken, even now I am very afraid that I will turn out to be infertile, in my eyes it is one of the most heartbreaking things that can ever happen to any woman,I pray to Allah(swt) everyday that no woman should ever go through such a thing.

Please give your opinion on this. I want to start by saying that 2012 will NOT be the end of the world. However, there will be major events that are unlike anything we have witnessed before. Around the end of 2012 the earth will go through what is called an "Earth Wobble" The last time the Earth Wobbled was in 2004 when the Tsunami killed 250,000 people. It was such a small wobble that most people wouldn't really call it a Earth Wobble. But this alignment in 2012 happens every 26,000 years and it will cause the Earth to go through a bit of a wobble. You might say, "Big deal, so what." But you don't understand. All it takes is a small affect on the Earth and it can cause major earthquakes around the world, Tsunamis, volcanic erruption etc. This "Earth Wobble" with the alignment only happens every 26,000 years, so nobody really knows what this wobble will do. All I know is that is only takes the Earth to go through a small rocky patch and it can cause major natural disasters on the Earth. And keep in mind today the population is very high and we also rely a lot on technology. I believe the closer we get to 2012 the more disasters we will see. But we are looking at something of a coffee shop/ deli type of place with moving into an online enviroment as well. If you're not out of bounds until your foot touches the ground, then isn't the reverse true that you're in the end zone if your foot, knee, elbow or hits the turf first in the end zone? If a player has position in the end zone(feet in end zone touching the turf) and has a ball in their hands, or catches a ball, that hasn't crossed the imaginary plane of the end zone line, and then the player is knocked out of bounds without the ball crossing the imaginary plane, is this a touchdown? I have the WORST VIRUS EVER! NOTHING CAN BEAT THIS?

Ok. I THINK this is a java virus but I don't know all I know is that it is VERY CLEVER! It basically infected my computer in a day without me knowing and spread so fast, I got it from downloading a torrent (I promise I won't TOUCH torrents again >:() And it infected my BIOS so I think its a boot sector virus. When I run virus scans, they always pick up a virus, but its never the main one. This one is SO smart, that when you try to insert your recovery disk, it does NOT recognize it, and when you try to install things like UBUNTU it makes IT DOESN'T EVEN BOOT THAT! Safe mode ONLY works when I shut off my computer incorrectly (Forcing shut down by pressing the power key), the boot menu no longer works :/. I recently got infected with this virus on my LAST computer and it eventually stole EVERYTHING from my comp because one day, it wanted me to reacess my whole computer information (Serial and all) in order for me to get back on my computer again. So this might be an advanced form of the JAVA exploit Trojan going around but I DON'T KNOW. My computer also makes a weird vibrating crackling noise whenever I restart. I just got this computer a month ago and its already infected and this computer cost a WHOLE lot of money, but warranty is my LAST resort. This virus has frustrated me so much, I just want to delete everything and start fresh. Any programs out there I can do that with? :/

Since I've been removing the wallpaper every now and then pieces of the drywall come off too. Once I'm done what can I use to smooth the wall out and paint over? I grew up in the '60's and early '70's and don't remember any of my teachers hugging me. There were some that were fond of me but it was out of the question. I think I agree with a more disciplined approach. Teachers have to remain authority figures. You see kids that are starving for love and your heart goes out to them but the way you help them is by setting the kind of example that makes them want to grow up to be just like you.

Can Rajon Rondo actually be one of the greatest playoff basketball players ever?

The guy is good and he is putting up his best performance ever. But he is not the best ever. Playoffs is really about match ups. And right now he has a match up that is an advantage to him. He is matched up against Mo Williams. Mo is good but Mo is not an all star. Rondo is a fantastic all around player but he seriously needs to improve the free throw shooting. How can he be a last minute guy if he can only shoot 60 percent at the line? The guy is good and he is getting better every year. Help preventing adult bed wetting!?!?

My husband and I have been married 2 yrs now. I knew coming into the relationship that he had a bed wetting problem as a child (nightly occurrence) and on occasions still wet the bed as an adult. I didn't think it was a big deal because as a child, I too had a bed wetting issue. Although, I outgrew it in my teen years. Here lately it's been a nightly occurrence and I'm starting to get annoyed with it. I've asked him to go to the doctor but he simply refuses. I've also suggested setting an alarm, fewer drinks at night etc but he doesn't want to try anything. He even got mad when I wanted to place a protective sheet on the bed. I don't know what to do anymore and nothing I seem to suggest is good enough. I'm trying to be supportive but I'm also tired of having to wake up every night to clean the bed up. I know it's mean but I'm starting to think that he is just being lazy and not caring. If his phone rings in the middle of the night, he will wake to answer it or if the kids are crying he'll go to them so it isn't necessarily that he is a deep sleeper. FM's are guidelines, not black and white inked in rules. Your Commander can implement an overweight or PT Failure special needs program as they see fit. I was in a unit that you did special needs PT after duty hours and on Saturday if you had anyone that was over tape or a PT Failure. For over three years I did PT Ten times a week, organized PT in the morning, special needs at night and once on Saturday as I always had at least one of either category. That be the breaks. Go complain all you want and wave that FM around because your jousting at windmills. Just stay with the program and get off the overweight and keep yourself off of it and in your case I think staying off of it would be a heck of an incentive as opposed to the program they have in place.

I have an 8 mth old (neutered) male kitty who has black & white whiskers. every little whisker is white near his face and black where it ends. 13 weeks old, not sure what it is?

My little boy is almost 14 weeks old. Just yesterday he started not feeling well I guess. He's usually very happy and very content so when he gets upset I definitely know something is wrong. He's been running small temps, he has a runny nose that's clear drainage, he's been drooling a lot, and he spits up more than usual. He still has wet diapers, and doesn't appear dehydrated. He just seems miserable. =( Is it possibly a cold? Could it be teething? I've read that teething follows the parent's pattern but I had two bottoms by 4 months, and my husband didn't get his until 13 months. What can I do to help soothe my little one? I'm leary of tylenol because I want to be safe, but I'm just wondering what I can do. Any advice is appreciated. =)

For people who have never had a weight problem it's easy to say 'just quit eating' or 'exercise more', but there are some of us who are very active and eat healthy, but still fall off the wagon. If this is the case, tell me the reasons you think you may overeat. Why is every one on here so about "gun oil"?

I remember in hunters safety years ago them telling us to put a good thick grease on the end of the bolt..... I've used about every oil out there at one point or another. I've used wd40 on a gun i dropped in the river. I soaked it in d40 to push the water out, then wiped it down. hunted for three more days and it worked fine. when i got home i completely wiped it down and re-oiled with gun oil. it worked well to get every drop of water out. it's your gun use what you want. I have an OLD semi auto that right in the manual it says to "use a good lubricating petroleum product, like Kerosene" KEROSENE! Any oil will corrode shell casings making it dangerous. I like using thin oil on my semi autos because they seem to function better and faster. ANY oil is better than no oil.

I am not over weight, but am in the cusp of almost being there. I am 5'8 and 155 to 160. I know it will be impossible to lose a great amount of weight, but would love for my jeans that used to fit perfectly to not be tight by then. I also want to know of any foods or regimens that are helpful for a healthy look. I am a smoker and quit today... for real. I think with this upcoming event I can really do it. I am concerned about a guy friend. Is there something going on?

I have two best friends, a girl and boy, who are a couple. I am actually the one who got Girl and Boy together. I've known Girl for 7 years, and Boy for 4 years. Girl and I had a falling out about 3 years ago and didn't talk for about a year. I received a couple of drunken calls from Boy during that period. One of which I asked what he wanted, and he responded with "You, is that okay?". I told him no, that even though Girl and I weren't friends I would never do that to her. He hung up on me. About 6 months after is when Girl and I reunited and became best friends again. It's been about 3 years since then. I didn't get to best friends status with Boy until about 6 months ago. Now to the dilemma. The three of us hang out, A LOT. Whenever I go to their house, I'm there for at least 5 hours. Lately, whenever boy drinks (which is almost every time I go over) he gets very subtly touchy with me. He's not stupidly drunk ever, but he probably has a good buzz going. For example: We were all three sitting on the couch, Boy between me and Girl, watching a movie. We had a big blanket across all of us with our feet on the coffee table. He very lightly rubs his feet against mine and his hand is always touching the side of my thigh. A flag goes up for me. I'm not a very touchy person, so it's really unusual when either of them gives me a hug, rubs my back, etc... This isn't the first occasion that this has happened. At least twice before. I just get weird vibes when stuff like this happens. Another example, pretty much the same instance described above, but his hand is ON my thigh. Yes, we are pretty cramped on the couch, but not that cramped. He isn't rubbing my thigh or anything, his hand is just sitting there. I know this seems stupid and I may be reading into it too much, but I want to know what other people have to say about it. I think it all goes back to that drunken phone call. It shows that there was a time that he felt some sort of attraction to me and I can't shake that off when he gets "touchy" with me. The reason the phone call threw me off is because we were not friends before the falling out, we were just co-workers. I try my best to avoid the above situations. I don't put my feet next to his and I try not to sit too close to him. It wouldn't be a big deal if his girlfriend wasn't my best friend. Remember though, Boy is my best friend too. There are some other thinks too, I just can't think of them. It's all about the energy I get from hims. I don't know. Thoughts?

Lying about MISCARRIAGE?? I need your help!?

The part that seems the strangest to me is her lacksidaisical attitude toward the whole pregnancy, miscarriage, and doctor's appointments. If I was having a miscarriage and my doc couldn't squeeze me (especially carrying another baby), I would freak out and literally go to the office and sit there until they saw me. But I would never have just accepted that they didn't have time for me. It is important to have such things checked out. I also don't see why a hospital would give her a narcotic if she was still pregnant with another baby. It wouldn't necessarily be a lawsuit, but it would be major trouble if something happened to that pregnancy. I have had quick appointments, but it really does depend on what they were looking for. My vote is she didn't get pregnant but was needing some attention or feeling left out of something. I have had a cousin who said she had a miscarriage because she was jealous of another pregnant cousin. It is sad, but I guess it doesn't hurt me, so I can't care so much.

I have a female guinea pig and she is fine on her own! if ur planing ongettingg just one make shure that you play with her and give her some loven! if you don't want to buy a another c&c cage i recomend that the store bought cage is 7.5 sq ft ( 30" x 36" ) and if you get to then make shure that cage is 30" x 50"! and yes make shure your male and female are supervised when together! How do you hold a badminton racket?

The reason more experienced players are telling you to hold your racquet in a certain manner is to get you used to the proper grip early before bad habits set in which then become harder to change. You may find it more comfortable now to hold the racquet in a certain manner, but as your game develops you will probably find that you become a one-sided player (most probably forehand) as you will have to change your grip on the racquet to hit backhand shots properly. So best to persevere with what seems an uncomfortable grip initially as in the long run you will become a better player.

What is the current life expectancy of Stage 4 Lung cancer that has metasized to the brain?

My mom is 64 and was just diagnosed with this in April. She has never smoked a day in her life. She has undergone whole brain radiation and will begin chemotherapy in a couple weeks. She has done extremely well with the radiation. I know it varies from person to person and the data I am looking at the internet is a few years old. Just wondering if anyone has any input. She lost her husband, my dad, 12 years ago at age 56 to a heart attack. I can't imagine losing my mom too!

Feeling oddly good, but maybe not, what?

I've been experiencing this heavy emotional disengagement for the past few months. The past week, it's gotten so bad I almost killed myself a few times out of the unbelievable detachment I felt (I'm not going to do it, don't worry). I went to the hospital on Friday for it and they set me up with a psychiatrist appointment (which is happening on Friday). They also prescribed clonazepam to take once nightly as a sleeping aid (0.5 mg, only at night right before I go to sleep). I felt weirdly disaffected into the next day until I went out with my girlfriend. After we were intimate, I felt oddly good, but at the same time it was like I was still disaffected. It was like I could picture everyone I loved dying in my head and not feel a thing. Over the past few days it's still been going up and down between okay and terrible, but still feeling oddly unaffected by external stimuli. The only time I feel "good" is after . Also playing video games seems to help. Sometimes I wonder if maybe it's just the fact that I think about things until they lose all feeling, but I'm not sure if you can really do that with concepts. Also it seems like every time I stop thinking, I stop feeling, although I still act like I'm feeling (not on purpose, it just comes naturally). I generally feel only mostly conscious, and nothing ever really feels significant. It all seems really symptomatic of clinical depression, except for the part where I occasionally feel good. Is that normal? Or is it maybe just a side effect of the sleeping pills? As twisted as it feels, it's like sometimes I want to feel bad. It's not like I feel like I deserve to feel bad, it's more like sometimes the situation just calls for feeling bad, but it's like no matter what the situation calls for, I'm just going to feel what I'm going to feel.

I like a lot of older (dating back to the 1930s) and newer (last week) cartoons. I would say that the 80s is definitely the clear winner, but I've seen some really good cartoons recently... Megas XLR being one of them... Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy and Ed, Edd and Eddy both make me chuckle non-stop. I think it really has to do with your preference and which type of cartoons you're into. I'm more of a comedy fan. I will say the trio of Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain and Freakazoid (Along with Exosquad and a few others) are my fav. toons of the 90s. Computer Science, Social Working, and Pre Med are entirely different fields. If accounting is causing you to struggle i wouldn't go into computer science or a pre med field, because they are both about 100 times harder than accounting will ever be.
