Need an accurate opinion on HD camera?

go to Wal-mart and there is tons of cameras there i personally chose a little red one for my hobby and the pics. look so real and it small enough you can hold it in your hand but big enough you can set it down and it not fall and i think it was like somewhere between $100-$400
