Would the republican party welcome barney frank with open arms if he switched to their party?

it would mean one more republican in the house. and one less democrat. remember the republicans mourned when mark foley resigned. at the time foley was john boehner's "cloest" friend. rush limbaugh and sean hannity both staunchly defended foley.
