Kelly green potato salad for St. Patrick's, cute, or icky?

I thought it would be cute to bring some really bright green potato salad to the party in New Orleans for the St. Patrick's parade, but I wonder if it would put more people off than it would amuse. If any one who reads this would chime in, I would most appreciate it. If it matters, what they are having already is craw fish and beer, (not green! eek!) and I am bringing cupcakes too. Oh, also, I have the super bright baker's food color in Kelly green, so it would be pretty much technicolor, not just sort of green. Thanks every body!
