What to do with all the pet hair my lab leaves laying around?

I have a 6 year old black lab that I got about 6 months ago. Lately she is shedding like crazy and I don't know how to clean up all the hair she leaves laying around. It is everywhere. I hate the fact that she sheds so much. I think the worst part is her hair in my kitchen and on my kitchen floor. When I have to mop I can't get it all up with the broom and then when I mop it all becomes wet and it is just discusting. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you.
