How u control diet in juvenile type 1 DM in 4 yrs kid - answer only if u are juvenile diabitic and experienced

i got diabetes when i was 7, my parents watched what i ate and they talked to any body who was around me. knowing the do and do nits or a diabetic diet is the key to manging his diet. make sure the school the parents of his friends and relatives know what he can and can not have. start teaching him now and he will remember it as he gets older. my parents would explain to me why i could or could not have certain foods and i would remember what i had learned when i was away from them.
